With only a few brief exceptions, I have been driving trucks since 1976. I have always loved the job, the equipment, and the action. I’ve driven just about everything and hauled just about everything, and I’ve worked for 5 O/O’s, 7 company driver jobs, owned my own. I say all that to say this: I will stay with Centurion/Spartan until I retire. They are, hands-down, the best group of people I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. Notice I didn’t say ” work for,” because I always feel like I’m part of a living, growing company ( not just an expendable resource). I can honestly say that every person “above me” here knows me, takes me seriously, offers me a support structure like nowhere else. Anyone who has been in the trucking industry very long knows that there is no such thing as a perfect job… but Centurion/Spartan is closer than anywhere else I’ve ever been.
